The Dutch premiere of the Wilde Noordzee / Northsea Nature Untamed movie is close now.
It's the result of years of work of an incredible talented group of professionals from directors, producers, interns, cameramen, camera-assistants, editors, componists, writers, etc.
Here is a collage of the creative talents involved whom I was lucky enough to get in front of my lens while shooting their portraits for the project website.
Hearing about their passion, ways of working and discussing our joint interest and hopes for the project were a big bonus during the shoots!
The kickstarters of the project Dutch Maritime Productions have delivered an incredible achievement with this team supported by a dedicated group of supporters and sponsors.
Above and below the waterline they have gone above and beyond to deliver this amazing cinema movie about our Northsea.
For me, playing a small role as a stills photographer, I have seen very little of the final product myself... So am looking forward to it a lot.
I do know that it will be special though!
Throughout the past years it was a big adventure to join the crew on some of their trips around the Northsea.
Never did I expect to see the wicked things I have seen, leave alone document it in a proper way to support the promotion of the project!
There is a string of premieres coming up. In Bloemendaal on the 4th of September (sold out) and in Vlissingen on the 7th of September and on various locations on the 8th of September for example.
As from the 12th of September the movie will show in more than 100 theaters throughout the country.
